Colofac IBS is used for the relief of symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome in adults and children aged 18 years and older. This is a Pharmacy Medicine item. These symptoms may vary from person to person. If you have blood or mucus in your stools please consult your doctor Do not use if: •You are under the age of 18 years. •This medicine contains lactose and sucrose. If you have been previously told by your doctor that you are intolerant to some sugars, seek medical advice prior to taking this medicine. •Please consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or breastfeeding. •Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be allergic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your pharmacist For adults and children aged 18 years and older, take one tablet three times daily. Swallow whole, preferably 20 minutes before a meal with a full glass of water.
