DESCRIPTION : Product Description The Spectra Dew 350 is a simple hospital grade pump designed for heavy duty use, with a powerful, smooth pattern of suction which is quiet and enables breastfeeding mums to quickly and efficiently support their milk production. The pump also comes with a backflow prevention filter to ensure safe and hygienic pumping. One drawback of the Dew 350 is that it has no letdown mode - the letdown mode is a quick, light pattern of suction which helps trigger letdown, or the process by which your body starts the milk flow. As a general guide, the longer you've been breastfeeding, the harder it is to get a letdown with a breast pump, though every woman is individual so there are many exceptions. The Dew 350 will work wonderfully for perhaps 90% of mums, but if you're a mum who finds it harder to express, then a letdown mode will really help, so take a look at the S1 or S2 or the M1. We generally advise that if you're a new mum wanting to express, particularly if you are relying on the pump or need to build supply, the Dew 350 is ideal, but if you're a mum with an older baby, say going back to work at 10 months, then you're more likely to need a pump with a letdown mode Features: - Easy to assemble - Suitable for single or double expression - Quiet motor - you can use this while your baby sleeps - Powered by mains - Compliance with CE, FDA and worldwide regulations Box Contains - 1 x Spectra Dew 350 Pump- 2 x Breast Shield Sets- 2 x Milk Storage Bottles-2 x Backflow Prevention Filter Note: 1.Do not wash or sterilize the backflow prevention filters. 2.Do not microwave sterilize the tubing and if you wash the tubing ensure that it is 100% dry before use. 3.The tubes can be dried in an airing cupboard or similar over night
