It immediately repels common mosquitoes for up to 8 hours, tiger mosquitoes for up to 6 hours and biting flies and ticks for up to 4 hours. This insect repellent has an effective DEET free formula that contains 20% Picaridin and is suitable for children over the age of 2 years. Autan Multi-insect Pump Spray can be sprayed directly onto skin or for sensitive areas it can be sprayed onto hands and then applied to the skin. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets. Hold the can 15-20 cm from the skin, pointing spray opening towards the surface to be sprayed. Spray evenly with a sweeping motion for 1 second onto exposed skin over the following areas: Adults: *Face, neck, hands and lower arms and upper parts of the feet. Children 2 years of age and over: Face, neck and upper parts of the feet. *For the face: Spray onto adults hand and apply sparingly onto adults or childs face avoiding eyes and mouth.
